The end of ideology

By Gregory Baremblitt

When some years ago the North American writer Fukuyama said in a book that had much repercussion, "The End of idelologías." I was not properly understood. But what is more interesting, I think he is not understood.
What he announced was the end of speeches and texts, given the radical opposition between essence and appearance, were intended to conceal or distort the latter to the former.
In other words, that especially for the field of political sociology and the economy: ideologies which, for example the Marxists used to say "consisted in the imaginary representation that subjects were made with their real conditions of existence ".... according to Fukuyama, if they had ceased to exist, were on track to completely lose its meaning and its functions.
These functions consisted, among others, to hide the exploitation of the capitalist mode of production and domination and mystification that hid called bourgeois democracy in the alleged constitutional freedoms of society "liberals." Fukuyama
The misunderstanding, was that the author described quite well how the regime-so-capitalist system referred openly the extraction of surplus value, to profit, interest and rent that the private ownership of the means of production, accumulation of money and rent from real property was unquestionably the owners of industrial capital, financial and latifundiario. As Fukuyama was, and is convinced that this so-regime-system ensures equal opportunities for all, he played the end of ideology as a result of which was no more need to hide anything from anyone because all classes, groups, movimentos and people were clear about how things worked and accepted the rules of the game In other words: "everyone" accepts the political economic social Darwinism cultural, and repression as necessary to keep the game within those rules.
the journey through the neo-liberal globalization and Fukuyama was right and others related, at least in the aspect that did not need to hide anything or convince anyone that the post-modern methods of exploration and domination not needed to be hidden or distorted by ideology. The rule had been introduced cynicism plenamente.La idea that "life is like" because human nature and reality in general is "also" made use of superfluous on the stage of existence all "set" and all scenes ideological or light kit.
The State, government corporations, political parties, trade unions, churches, mass media, with small ornaments, did not hide anything anymore, because it was not necessary. At best such entities openly accused "almost" any violation of the law, but never questioning the role of law as the rule of the game.
Capitalism, its democracy and its culture had finally reached the stage of "take it or leave it", because it was "the least worst option." Neither
contemporary terrible crisis, which, among other things, revealed the immanence of capitalism and gangsterism, came to question the bases of the organization of life.
What Fukuyama and company never perceived, or perceived are careful to state is that the most effective and hateful ideologies, is to proclaim, not exactly their falsehood and deceit, but their dispensability. Who has "nothing to hide" in because it has so much power and complicity that does not need to lie, indeed, seems to have overcome the difference between truth and falsehood.
Gen. Juan Domingo Peron, Argentine leader who perfected the ideas, strategies and tactics of Mussolini, Franco, Stalin and Vargas, among some of his "genius" had slogans that said "The only truth is the reality." The prophetic words of a demagogue extraordinarily rich. When
ideology has been so well conceived and articulated much more goes on to say that it is "true", but is the "reality" itself, is not more than necessary, but has been completely extinguished the ability to argue that there must be several, more or less true.
Maybe that's why the motto of movements such as Solidarity Economy, which argues that "another world is possible" should think seriously whether it would be more interesting to change that formula. The wording leaves the impression that there is one other possible world, and it is possible with reference to this real world that is so true that even accurate ideologies. Perhaps it would some sense a theme plural, "Infinite Worlds ".... and is not to be possible, are those worlds that are real and what happens is that we are not yet able to state or their truth or their ideology, perhaps for the first time, fully coincide.
